The New Year is here, and as with all things new, sometimes it’s time to shake things up a bit. A good place to start is with your winter damaged tresses—take them out of their dull torture and give a new style a try. So what revamped styles are in the forecast?

Slicked-Back Pony Tails: There is something so effortlessly structured about a neatly tied back pony at the center of your head. Not only does it nicely compliment any outfit worthy to be seen, it is great for a busy, ball-busting day, when the thought of hair hanging in front of your eyes is already aggravating. With a tightly pinned back pony, you’re achieving that trendy wet look, without looking too 1990s.

A Bigger Blowout: Time for that bombshell volume. Blowouts are bigger and better this year. Think more 60s, and less your nightly news anchor. Freshly blown bombshell waves are not only every man’s favorite hairstyle, but the added bounce is refreshingly chic. Besides, you know you haven’t gone to the hair salon in months…

French Twist: Talk about chic. Who doesn’t want to look a little fancy for a girl’s night out? The textured style of this look is incredibly flattering to the face without looking fussy or stiff; and although it is quite fancy, this style retains an effortless ease.

Take your tresses out of their slumber and kick things up a notch!
