Winter White: No Longer a Fashion Faux Pas

They say don’t wear white after Labor Day, yet a white garment can be a breath of fresh air against some of your darker, heavier winter pieces.

For the winter months you can’t go wrong with a beautiful white coat. For functionality, look for something in an off-white, bone hue. A white coat is inherently elegant so no matter what you wear under it, it will make you look clean and refined.

Sweaters are also great statement pieces that look beautiful in ivory shades. Whether you decide to go comfy and oversized or fitted and structured, a white sweater will make you feel cozy, warm, and instantly chic. This season, there are so many unconventional styles to choose from that you are sure to find a favorite.

Got a fancy affair and you aren’t sure what to wear? Give a white cocktail dress a whirl. Choose one in a soft wool or cashmere fabric to stay warm and look fresh. Pair it with a deep lip color for a bombshell look. Want something more daring? Try a white suit! No one will see it coming and you’ll look original compared to everyone else.

When it comes to white, pick statement pieces and have fun! This clean hue will look great no matter what the temperature is like outside.
